In partnership with the Catalyst Center, San Diego Center for Children will facilitate
two webinar sessions to inspire providers and allied professionals to innovate
and strengthen impact to reach marginalized families during the pandemic,
centering equity and strengths-based values in structures of care.
Session 1: Reaching Marginalized Families Through Telehealth
Wednesday September 30th
1:00-2:30pm
This 90 minute webinar will focus on how providers using telehealth can use a family-centered, collaborative, and culturally individualized approach to reach families from marginalized populations. We will explore how to build trust with families likely to perceive providers as a part of systemic racism and discrimination. We will also explore how to overcome the additional barriers of attempting to navigating these already difficult situations through telehealth.
Session 2: Innovations in Providing Wraparound Services Through Telehealth
Wednesday October 14th
1:00-2:30pm
This 90 minute webinar will explore innovations in providing wraparound services through telehealth with focus on reaching historically marginalized populations. We will explore specific telehealth activities with families as well as organizational approach and support of staff in representing wraparound values from top to bottom.
