Will my STRTP be designated an IMD? Trainings and Office Hours

All STRTP Providers must have their programs reviewed by DHCS to determine whether or not their facilities may be designated as IMDs by December 31st, 2021. It is important for organizations to understand the IMD designation, and how it could affect your STRTP.‍Be prepared for DHCS's assessment and understand potential organizational changes you may need to make.‍THE CATALYST CENTER IS OFFERING FREE TRAINING & TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ( TA) FOR STRTP PROVIDERS IN CALIFORNIA WHO MAY BE IMPACTED, AND PROGRAM CHANGES THAT THEY SHOULD CONSIDER TO AVOID THIS DESIGNATION.

ACEs Aware Provider Training

This training series for primary care, acute care, and behavioral health providers focuses on “Advancing Trauma-Informed Communities” and improving knowledge and capacity for utilizing community resources in the referral process. The goals of these trainings are to: a) increase provider insight into ACEs prevalence, b) develop screening capacity, c) explore tools to assess your local communities who experience ACEs, and d) identify strategies to facilitate a warm handoff by utilizing community resources for referral. The training will also explore evidence-informed, non-clinical workflows; policy recommendations at the local and state levels; strategies for formalizing and sustaining partnerships with community-based organizations; and facilitating data sharing.

Fighting Alcoholism in America: Improving Treatment and Preventing Addiction
